Uber Car Involved in Fatal Crash Had Braking System Disabled
The Uber self-driving motorcar that killed an Arizona woman in March actually detected her presence half-dozen seconds earlier the fatal collision, merely failed to stop considering the automatic braking systems onboard were turned off, according to a preliminary report from investigators.
